Peat-free plants on available

Two of Britain's foremost conservation charities have joined forces to offer members plant 'plugs' produced in an entirely peat-free medium.

 Details  
The RSPB and National Trust, in association with Suttons Seeds are offering more than 100 different types of plant plugs which have been produced in a peat-free medium. The plants will be available to members of both charities in their Spring catalogues. The scheme has won strong backing from leading TV horticulturalist Chris Beardshaw.
